The Saudi FDA is recognized as one of the most stringent medical device regulatory authorities in the Middle East. Its registration and renewal requirements involve comprehensive reviews of clinical evidence, technical documentation, and quality management systems, with standards that are increasingly aligned with the European Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR).
